For over thirty years, PRLDEF has helped Latino and other students of diversity secure access to a legal education by providing a comprehensive array of educational support programs.
The Education Division has three program areas: Pre-Admissions, Post-Admissions and Professional Development.
The Pre-Admission program includes:
· One-on-one pre-law counseling services.
· LSAT preparatory courses.
· Personal Statement Writing workshops.
· Financial Aid seminars.
· Law Day, our signature event where representatives from law schools nationwide recruit diverse students.
The Post Admission program includes:
· Scholarship opportunities for first and second year law students.
· Workshops specifically for law students.
· Law Student-Attorney Network, our mentoring program.
The Professional Development program includes:
· Summer corporate legal internships.
· Summer and Fall Civil Rights Internships.
· Job Manual containing a compilation of both legal and non-legal career opportunities.
